Bourron-Marlotte is famous due to its artistic past. In 19th century , both villages of Bourron and Marlotte, now unified knew celebrity with the painters of landscapes.
Now, the pedestrian tour "sur les pas des artistes", (on the footprints of the artists) you can discover the houses of these famous artists, Saint-Sévère church, one of the oldest of the surroundings.
